Erica grew up in Waco where her parents and two sisters still reside. She moved a few hours away to attend college at the University of North Texas. There, she completed her Bachelor of Arts with honors. After earning her undergraduate degree, Erica moved again, this time much farther away, to attend Marquette University Law School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She graduated from law school in 2008 with a certificate from the National Sports Law Institute.

Erica then decided to return to her home state to practice law. After passing the Bar Exam, Ms. Shank invited Erica to join the law firm’s Killeen office. Erica is excited to serve the Killeen clientele, comprised largely of active duty soldiers and veterans, in discharging their debt.
