During law school, I received the Cali Book Award for Academic Excellence in Secured Transactions and worked as a Legal Research and Writing Teaching Assistance for first year law students. While in Georgia, I assisted Judge Walker in creating a nationally presented project called Putting the Pieces Together: Promoting Resiliency in Children from Birth to Three. This presentation educated professionals on the best practices and procedures to meet the unique needs of the youngest children in foster care, by promoting safety, permanency and resiliency.
