Biography

The Law Offices of Chen & Lee prides itself on being a community based law firm. We have several employees who speak many different languages. We field dozens of calls per day from persons throughout the community who have legal questions and problems that need to be solved, and meet with many others in our offices to evaluate your case and review your evidence. We rarely charge for simple assistance, we often offer discounts, and we will only charge if we accept your case. For our fees, depending on the type of case, we offer payment options such as flat fee, contingency (no charge unless you win), or hourly billing. We also have monthly payment plans if you run into difficulties paying for services.

Senior Attorney Ernest Chen, earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and earned his Juris Doctor degree with a merit scholarship from the University of Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. Upon graduation from law school he won the Witkin Award for Academic Excellence in Health Law. He also earned an MBA degree from Case Western Reserve University with an intensive triple-major concentration in Finance / Marketing / Entrepreneurship and graduated in the top of his class.

In addition to being an active community participant, Mr. Chen possesses over 20 years of professional work experience regarding business matters, ranging from doing engineering work, owning his own high-tech enterprise to working in corporate environments. He also performed paralegal work prior to his decision to become licensed as an attorney in the State of California and has engaged in pro bono stints at the California Board of Equalization Tax Clinic as well as the California Department of Insurance Enforcement Division.
