Biography
FRANK H. STOY is an associate in the Litigation and Cyber Liability & Technology Law Practice Groups of Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick & Raspanti, LLP and based in the firm’s Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania office. Mr. Stoy is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and is a member of the American, Pennsylvania, and Allegheny County Bar Associations.
FRANK H. STOYPrior to joining the firm, Mr. Stoy served as Special Assistant to Dean Ken Gormley, and as Director of Academic Excellence at Duquesne University. He worked on numerous legal and academic projects, including Dean Gormley’s upcoming book titled, “American Presidents and the Constitution.” Mr. Stoy continues to serve as an adjunct professor and coach of Duquesne’s arbitration and appellate moot court teams.
Mr. Stoy received his B.A., magna cum laude, in Politics from Juniata College where he was a member of the Dean’s list as well as the National Political Science Honor Society. He received his J.D., Cum Laude, in June 2012 from Duquesne University. While in law school, Mr. Stoy served as a summer law clerk for the Honorable Frederick P. Stamp in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia. Mr. Stoy was also a senior editor on the Duquesne Law Review, the founding President of the law school’s Appellate Moot Court Board, and a participant in trial advocacy, arbitration, and appellate moot court competitions. Mr. Stoy was awarded the Duquesne University School of Law Distinguished Student Award, the Shalom Moot Court Award, and was elected to the Order of the Barristers.
