Biography
Frederick D. Benton, Jr. is a graduate of St. Joseph’s College and Capital University Law School. He is the principal of a law firm bearing his name. He is licensed to practice law in the U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. Court of Appeals, U.S. District Court, and the Ohio Supreme Court. His practice includes all major criminal and civil litigation, business, real estate, and personal injury.
He is active in a number of community, civic, and professional organizations. His community involvement includes: Governing Board - Gloria S. Friend Christian Academy; Mt. Olivet Baptist Church; Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity; The Leadership Experience; Urban Resurrection Community Development Corporation; and the Urban Minority Alcoholism Outreach Program of Franklin County, Inc.
