Frederick W. Vasselman is currently the General Counsel for the Police Benevolent Association of the City of New York, Inc.

Mr. Vasselman received his Juris Doctorate from St. John’s University School of Law and was admitted to practice in the State of New York in 2005. 

Mr. Vasselman is a retired New York City Police Officer (1990-2010), who was assigned as legal counsel for the New York City Police Department’s Legal Bureau Civil Litigation Unit, and was an attorney for the New York City Police Commissioner.  

Mr. Vasselman was a partner in the Law Firm of Vasselman and Spooner, P.C. from 2005 -2009, P.C.

Mr. Vasselman served as Of Counsel to the Law Firm Of Vigorito, Barker, Patterson, Nichols and Porter from 2015-2019.

The Law Office of Frederick W. Vasselman Esq., has operated from 2005-present.   

Mr. Vasselman is admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern District of New York, and a member of the Nassau County, Suffolk County and New York State Bar Associations.
