I'm a business lawyer, with deep hands-on work in business and technology. I've managed two departments in a department store, served as chief financial officer for a fast food franchise in Maryland, and was general counsel and chief scientist for a weight loss company. I've been a computer programmer and software designer. I teach business courses part time to biotechnology master's students at Johns Hopkins. My legal work includes contracts and employment agreements, helping businesses form and get started, going to court when disputes arise, and protecting a company's assets with copyright and trademark.
