Biography
Geidy’s primary areas of practice are family law, immigration, and criminal defense. Geidy offers effective representation by seeking to understand her client’s goals, and by communicating often, clearly, and honestly. She provides her clients with effective, steadfast advocacy while compassionately handling difficult and often sensitive matters.
Geidy is a graduate of the J. Reuben Clark Law School where she received her Juris Doctorate. Geidy also attended the University of Utah where she earned a B.A. in English. During law school, Geidy was a law clerk for the Appellate Division of the Salt Lake Legal Defenders Association, and for two local firms where she worked on criminal and family law matters and divorce mediation. Geidy also worked as a legal fellow for Senator Luz Robles at the Utah State Legislature, and served as Co-Executive director of the Utah County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
Geidy also has a passion for education, before attending law school, Geidy taught Language Arts at Dowdell Middle School near Tampa, Florida. Currently, Geidy serves as a Nebo Attendance Court (NAC) Judge where she assists students struggling with poor grades and attendance as an alternative to Juvenile Court.
Geidy was born in Dominican Republic and is a native Spanish speaker. She grew up in New York but now happily calls Utah home. She resides in Provo with her 2 children.
