Biography
My focus is on growing strong businesses. Small businesses are the
backbone of our economy and too often small business owners operate
without more than bare legal coverage. I hope to reach small business
owners and offer structure and legal teeth to their organization and
agreements. I aim to put my services within reach of the small
business. We focus on finding out what makes you tick, what ticks you
off, and structure our recommendations and the documents we draft for
you accordingly.
My firm started when I realized I was too much of an entrepreneur
to sit locked in a large firm researching the tax code. I spent a year
working with the Corporate and Tax groups at a larger firm and when the
economy tanked, we all suffered. I started this firm with the goal to
reach the entrepreneur, be flexible and creative with fees, and help
businesses develop their legal backbone.
I own my own business, now. I actually own part or all of four
businesses. As a small business owner, you have to diversify to be
successful and I believe you miss out when all your eggs are in one
basket. I cannot guarantee success, but I can guarantee that when one
business struggles, any one of the others is carrying the load.
My style and strength is in listening and then acting swiftly. I prefer to keep things low stress for you. We will give you plenty of notice and stay in regular communication throughout our representation. Once you are ready to go, it's game time.
I enjoy woodworking - building furniture, shelves, benches, etc. I love to golf, but am horrible at it. I really love to swim - I competed back in high school and still find the rush of water as I criss-cross the pool very calming. I am trying to finish a work of science-fiction/fantasy.
