I'm an attorney, CPA, and Enrolled Agent (one of 8 in California) who focuses on resolving complex business, estate planning, and tax issues. I currently run a small firm (Ibis Law Group APC) here in the San Fernando Valley. I also teach undergraduate accounting classes at California Lutheran University and continuing education courses for various tax related organizations. I completed advanced studies in business and taxation at Golden Gate University (MS in Taxation), the University of Southern California (MBA). I was named a Fellow of the National Tax Practice Institute in 2015 after completing advanced studies in tax practice and procedure.

I previously worked for about 8 years in some of the largest tax resolution companies in the United States, serving in both client facing roles and in senior management (controller, director of resolution, general counsel) overseeing client case work, regulatory issues, and legal matters. I have significant experience working with distressed businesses as well as attempts by tax agencies to assert personal liability for unpaid payroll taxes.

I am an active member of the San Fernando Valley Chapter of the California Society of Enrolled Agents (past chapter president, past state education committee vice chair, current state director). I'm also a member of the American Bar Association (Section on Taxation), CalCPA, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the National Association of Enrolled Agents, and the San Fernando Valley Bar Association.
