      My name is G. Dewayne Huston and throughout my legal career I have gained a reputation as an attorney who will go above and beyond in order to achieve the desired result.  When a person is charged with a criminal offense, whether it is a misdemeanor or felony, there can be serious consequences - perhaps loss of employment, loss of privileges, and the most crucial being the loss of liberty. 

      As a prosecutor, I gained the insight into how a case should be investigated and how a criminal case should proceed.  The State's case is rarely bullet-proof, but it does take a skilled lawyer to find the weaknesses in their case and expose them.  As the old adage goes, "Knowledge is Power".  Having a lawyer that is "over-prepared" is the most essential advantage for a client in a criminal proceeding.  I am determined to be the most educated lawyer in the courtroom.  I work diligently on that standard through my daily legal research on case specific issues, my continuing legal education activities, and through my memberships in various legal associations.  But Knowledge is not just education - you have to know how to use it!  A good trial lawyer needs to be persuasive and effective in the courtroom.  With the expertise of over 100 criminal trials and the experience of handling thousands of criminal cases, I am confident that I can provide my clients the fighting chance they deserve.
