George L. Beck, Jr. joins Morris Haynes Attorneys at Law after servingas the United States Attorney for the Middle District of Alabama. Before entering federal service Mr. Beck enjoyed a successful civil and criminal law practice. His 37 million dollar judgment in favor of an insurance company set a jury verdict record in Montgomery County. Equally as impressive was his 25 million dollar Federal tort claim award for children injured by medical negligence. An earlier million dollar verdict had launched Alabama’s modern-day class action law suits on behalf of consumers. Mr. Beck currently defends public officials and business owners accused of white collar offenses.
