Biography
George Cowden IV is a personal injury trial lawyer who handles cases in Texas and throughout the United States. George represents clients in serious personal injury and wrongful death cases involving motor vehicle crashes, 18-wheeler crashes, automotive safety defects, child car seat defects, and many others. He is a 6th generation Texan and 4th generation lawyer.
For his undergraduate degree, George attended Baylor University where he majored in Philosophy and spent two summers studying abroad in Great Britain and Costa Rica. Prior to entering law school, George worked at a homeless shelter in Waco, Texas, at an advertising firm in New York City, and as a European tour guide. He then followed in his father and grandfather’s footsteps, attending Baylor Law School.
As a law student, George developed a passion for oral advocacy and was heavily involved in moot court and mock trial competitions. Some of his accomplishments include: Top Overall Speaker – Dawson & Sodd, P.C. Moot Court competition; State Champions – American Association for Justice Mock Trial Competition; and the Strasburger & Price, LLP Mock Trial Award, recognizing him as an outstanding advocate at Baylor Law.
As an attorney, George focuses his efforts on representing individuals who are harmed by the wrongful conduct of others. George strongly believes in the justice system not only as a battle ground for fairness, but also as a tool to make communities safer—one case at a time.
