Biography
We have successfully represented many clients obtain many forms of immigration relief, and we now increasingly specialize in representing asylum and LGBTIQ+ clients across the United States. My immigration experience includes successfully defending individuals in immigration court proceedings before an Immigration Judge, including with defensive asylum cases, VAWA petitions, and Form I-751 Waiver Petitions. We continue to handle all types of family-based visas. This includes, but is not limited to, applications to obtain lawful permanent resident status (i.e., obtain a green card) through marriage, together with Fiancé (K1) and Joint Form I-751 Petitions. We also have a proven record of accomplishment in assisting LGBTIQ+ and other clients obtain affirmative asylum relief at all eight Asylum Offices throughout the country, including Asylum Offices located in Arlington, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, New Jersey, and San Francisco. And we represent clients obtain U.S. Citizenship by filing Form N-400, Application for Naturalization, with the USCIS (generally, we see NATZ interviews scheduled within 6-9 months).

In 2023, we also were successful with numerous mandamus actions where we successfully sued the USCIS and other federal agencies in federal court to compel the Government to schedule interview appointments or issue decisions on cases that were languishing and taking too long.
