Gil B. Selinger counsels clients on a wide range of business transactions and legal matters. He works on securities, corporate and real estate transactions; mergers and acquisitions; changes of ownership; and cases involving corporate finance and capital. Gil has experience in both general corporate matters and securities matters; he routinely drafts corporate documents, including operating agreements, by-laws, shareholder agreements, buy/sell agreements and asset/stock purchase agreements, among others.

In addition to providing full service advice to corporate clients, Gil also offers clients expertise on state and federal securities laws and raising capital for their businesses. Gil has extensive experience in the refinance of loans, the raising of capital and other transactions that must be reworked to retain a company’s value as the market shifts. His clients work in a variety of industries—including venture capital, private equity, technology, operations and real estate—and range from small LLCs and family-owned businesses to family offices and large corporations.

Prior to studying law, Gil gained a vantage of the consumer side of the financial industry while working as a financial analyst at Goldman Sachs & Co. in New York City. In addition to Wall Street finance, Gil worked within federal politics and local business management. He was ultimately attracted to the law when he realized its breadth and application across all of these fields.
