Glenn J. Smith is a seasoned trial attorney and municipal lawyer who represents the County of York, Pennsylvania as its Solicitor. After a career as a stockbroker, Glenn returned to school to enable him to use the law to serve his clients in matters of concern or interest to them.  He has a strong personal commitment to integrity, fairness, and using his knowledge and skills in service of others.

He has had a varied career in Pennsylvania and Maryland as an assistant District Attorney, a Special Assistant United States Attorney, solicitor for number of municipalities and authorities, as well as local and county officers. Glenn has also served as the solicitor for the Pennsylvania State Mayor's Association, representing mayors across the state.

His peers nominated him to the York County Bar Association Board of Directors, where he also serves on a number of committees. With a passion for the arts and economic development, Glenn volunteers extensively with Creative York, the York County Economic Alliance and Rotary International.
