I am proud to represent consumers who have had a debt collector or used car dealer take advantage of them.  There are some very helpful laws to protect people from common types of abuse.  In many instances, these laws provide that the debt collector or car dealer must pay the consumer's attorney fees if we win.  That means that for many of my clients who have strong cases, I do not require my fee to be paid by the consumer.

If you receive a summons from a court telling you that you have been sued to collect a debt, you need to contact an attorney very quickly, because you have a limited time to respond to the lawsuit.  However, even if that time has passed, there may be some options.
