In my past life I was a military officer, company commander, and AH-64D Apache Helicopter pilot.  My time in the military taught me patience, strategy, empathy and decisiveness.  These skills translate into my practice.  

Prior to beginning my own practice, I spent time performing clinical work for the indigent population in the East Bay and clerking at the U.S. Attorney’s Office in San Jose.  I was editor-in-chief of the Berkeley Journal of Criminal Law and a recipient of the Prosser Prize.
