I have been a trial lawyer since 1981. I received my law degree from Southern Methodist University in 1980, after studying at Harvard (AB 1974) and Caltech. I am licensed to practice law in Texas and New York. I am admitted to practice before all Texas and New York state courts, all federal district courts in Texas, the 5th and 9th U.S. Courts of Appeals, the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, and the U.S. Supreme Court. I am a lifetime member of the Multi-Million-Dollar Advocates Forum. I have represented hundreds of individuals, and as well as many organizations that have included utility companies, insurers, banks, manufacturers, professional organizations, construction companies, charities and churches.
