Hector Ruiz, a partner in the firm, concentrates his practice on federal and complex commercial litigation. He has represented national and regional clients across a wide spectrum industries, including pharmaceutical, healthcare, banking, construction, manufacturing and information systems. Hector has substantial experience in all aspects of commercial litigation, including business torts, professional negligence, products liability and class action defense. He also represents clients as local counsel in significant intellectual property disputes, including patent claims, trademark, unfair competition and copyright.

Hector earned his J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law in 2001, and subsequently clerked for (now Chief Judge) the Honorable Jose L. Linares, U.S.D.J., of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
