Heidi Ricker was born and raised in Deale, Maryland and graduated from the University of Maryland.  She received her Juris Doctor from the George Mason School of Law.  Since then she has made Virginia her home and has adeptly handed complex family law matters in all counties in Northern Virginia.  She understands the difficulties surrounding the divorce process, including matters of support, equitable distribution and child custody and visitation.  Ms. Ricker is a highly effective negotiator and has successfully settled cases without the client having to go through the stress and expense of trial.  Yet with her passion for attention to detail and thorough preperation, Ms. Ricker is an affecting adversary in trial.  Ms. Ricker also has experience in criminal law, personal injury, and estate planning.
