A former city judge and former state representative, Mr. Fincher is a graduate of Harvard Law School with over 20 years’ experience trying cases in Tennessee’s state and federal courts. 

He has more legal specialist certifications than any other Tennessee attorney: he is a certified Civil Trial Specialist, Civil Pre-Trial Specialist, Family Law Advocate, and Certified Elder Law Attorney.  He  is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, an exclusive organization of attorneys who have obtained judgments or settlements for their clients exceeding $ 1 million.   

His hobbies include long-distance running, mountaineering and other active outdoor pursuits.  He is a certified personal trainer, an NRA-certified firearms self-defense instructor and has also performed in local Shakespeare theater productions with his daughter.
