H. Timothy Lopez is Associate General Counsel with A. O. Smith Corporation in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he heads the company’s international law practice group. He is also responsible for legal matters affecting, among other things, intellectual property protection, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, foreign compliance and commercial transactions.

Prior to joining A. O. Smith, Lopez spent six years as in-house counsel at Kohler Company and was an associate with Foley & Lardner LLP. He is licensed to practice law in California and Wisconsin. Lopez is a board member of the international section of the Wisconsin Bar, and a member of the China Business Council of the Milwaukee Metropolitan Association of Commerce.
