Biography
Howard founded Boston Employment Law PC in 2016, continuing his practice in employment law, business litigation and appeals. In the employment area, he represents both employers and employees before state and federal administrative agencies and courts in cases involving: wage payment and overtime claims under the Fair Labor Standards Act and Massachusetts law; sexual harassment; age, race, disability and sex discrimination; and trade secrets and non-competition agreements. He also counsels clients regarding day-to-day employment law issues involving COBRA; the Family and Medical Leave Act; reasonable accommodation to disabled employees; employment contracts; severance; and employee handbooks. In addition, he has substantial litigation experience in business and corporate law issues including: shareholder and other corporate disputes; real estate disputes, including partition actions; the Uniform Commercial Code; fraudulent conveyance law; debtor-creditor matters; and business torts.
