ILAN is a founding partner of Gunderson Dettmer's San Diego and Los Angeles offices, where he practices corporate and securities law. Ilan has represented a variety of private and public life sciences and technology companies on a wide range of general corporate and transactional matters, including venture capital financings, public offerings, and mergers and acquisitions. He has extensive experience with private and public securities offerings, university licensing, and strategic collaborations. Ilan also assists clients in meeting their financing needs through his extensive network of relationships with angel investors, venture capitalists, corporate partners, and investment bankers.

Prior to joining Gunderson Dettmer, Ilan practiced in Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati's Palo Alto and San Diego offices. Ilan holds a J.D. from the New York University School of Law and a B.A. from UCLA. He is admitted to practice in California.
