Biography
Nichole Oblinger’s passion within family law comes from helping families through emotionally challenging decisions to achieve workable solutions. She believes in her role as a counselor first and foremost and is committed to her mission of guiding her clients through what is often a very tumultuous time to help them build successful and independent lives. She represents both men and women in a variety of family law-related issues, including separation and divorce, child custody and child support cases, spousal support (alimony), guardianships, adoptions, modifications, contempts, restraining orders, and fighting allegations of physical abuse and substance abuse. She is extremely experienced crafting prenuptial, postnuptial, and cohabitation agreements. Attorney Oblinger has dealt with a wide range of clients including those with a net worth in the millions and those holding complex business structures and trusts.
Attorney Oblinger graduated summa cum laude from St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas, after graduating with the same honors from Arizona State University West. She was a judicial intern with the Texas Fourth Court of Appeals. Nichole provided representation on behalf of the Department of Child Safety as a Special Counsel for the Arizona Attorney General’s Office in the Child and Family Protection Division. Before moving to Massachusetts and joining O’Connor Family Law, Attorney Oblinger practiced in the areas of family law and bankruptcy for many years with the Boates Law Firm, LLC (previously Boates and Crump, PLLC). Impressively, she has presided as a Judge Pro Tem for Family Court in Arizona. She is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts and Arizona.
