Jacob Alzamora is of Ecuadorian descent and was raised in Florida. He graduated cum laude from the University of Florida with an undergraduate degree in political science and received his law degree from Boston University School of Law where he was an Edward F. Hennessey Scholar.

Jacob is currently licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia, including the U.S. Bankruptcy Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. Jacob is also an active member of the Fairfax Bar Association and Virginia Trial Lawyers Association.

Jacob is fluent in Spanish, lives in Alexandria, and loves his Florida Gators.
