Biography
A graduate of the Michael F. Price School of Business at the University of Oklahoma, Jacob Rowe earned undergraduate degrees in both Accounting and Economics before attending the Oklahoma City University School of Law. During law school, Mr. Rowe earned academic distinction as a Merit Scholar and as a member of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society. He was awarded a CALI Award for Jurisprudence, given by the Center for Computer-Assisted Legal Instruction to the highest scoring student in each law class.
Earning a Juris Doctorate from the OCU School of Law was not the end of Mr. Rowe’s legal education, as he continued to increase the depth of his knowledge through continuing educational opportunities. In 2011, he graduated from the prestigious Gerry Spence’s Trial Lawyer’s College, where he studied advanced communication and trial techniques from America’s most respected litigators.
As a trial lawyer, Mr. Rowe has gained significant experience in diverse areas of practice, including misdemeanor and felony criminal matters; auto accident and personal injury litigation; insurance bad faith litigation; family law, including divorce, child custody, and division of assets; contract litigation; juvenile delinquent and deprived litigation; and state and federal appeals.
A member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, the Oklahoma County Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, and the Oklahoma Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, Jacob Rowe is licensed to practice in all state and federal courts in Oklahoma as well as the United States 10th Circuit Court of Appeals.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Mr. Rowe is committed to being an active and involved member of the community. He has formerly served as a member of the Volunteer Oklahoma Lawyers for Children and the Oklahoma Bar Association High School Mock Trial Committee, and he is a volunteer high school debate judge. Because he himself was a high school debater, encouraging young people to further their skill in this area is important to him.
Jacob Rowe is also a member of the Oklahoma City Midtown Rotary Club, part of an international service organization that strives to promote local arts and artists and raises funds to provide arts related educational opportunities to local schools.
