Biography
Jaime E. Seaton handles special education law, family law litigation, probate litigation, estate and trust matters, and corporate litigation matters.
Jaime E. Seaton is a native of Washington, D.C. Mrs. Seaton has her bachelors in Government and Politics with a minor in Early Childhood Special Education, from the University of Maryland, where she graduated with departmental honors. Mrs. Seaton received her Juris Doctorate from David A. Clarke School of Law.
Prior to law school, Mrs. Seaton was the Executive Director of a national student led organization focused on bringing attention to issues of social justice. Mrs. Seaton was awarded the Spirit of the Immortal Chaplains Award for her advocacy for bringing attention to the genocide in Darfur, presented by actor Don Cheadle and Paul Rusesabegina.
Throughout law school, Mrs. Seaton worked in the Special Education and Juvenile clinic as a student attorney, representing clients in the District of Columbia. During law school, Mrs. Seaton was a law clerk for a preeminent special education law firm in the Washington metropolitan area that specializes in assisting students with disabilities in obtaining appropriate special education services. In addition, Mrs. Seaton clerked for Administrative Law Judge John P. Dean, where she assisted Judge Dean on a variety of legal matters in the District of Columbia.
Mrs. Seaton is a member of the Maryland Bar Association, District of Columbia Bar Association, Montgomery County Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.
