I have been practing bankruptcy law for approximately fifteen years. I manage the daily operations of The Cline Law Group and personally represent each client. I took the law office over from my father, Max Cline who is now retired. In total we have been in business over forty years. I have assisted thousands of individuals obtain fresh starts in chapter 7 and reorganize under chapter 13.

I am a native of the Bay Area. I graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1999 with a degree in environmental studies and a degree in geography. After working in two San Francisco law offices, I resumed my studies at Golden Gate University, School of Law. I graduated in 2004 with a Juris Doctorate. At Golden Gate School of Law I was on the Moot Court Board, was a semi-finalist in the November 2003 Appellate Advocacy Competition, and received a CALI, Excellence for the Future Award in Wills & Trusts. I was admitted to the California Bar in June 2005. I am an active member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys and the Bankruptcy Section of the Alameda County Bar Association. 

I was chosen by LawReview CLE, which is a national provider of seminars for attorneys, to speak about bankruptcy practice. In the online course I teach attorneys how to assist bankruptcy clients including those who are behind on their home loan payments and are facing foreclosure. I also explains how a second mortgages can be removed in a chapter 13 case.
