Jim Yavorcik has practiced law for more than 40 years.  He has extensive trial and appellate experience, and is a board certified civil trial advocate. He also served as a former assistant Lucas County prosecutor, handling many high profile homicide cases in the 1980s.

He is one of the few attorneys to have argued cases in both the Ohio Supreme Court and Michigan Supreme Court. Jim has served the legal community by teaching other attorneys in continuing education programs since 1984 on topics such as evidence, professionalism, jury selection, and settlement negotiations.  

Jim has a referral-based practice, often co-counseling cases with other lawyers from Northwest Ohio.  He also serves as a private mediator for attorneys needing assistance in resolving disputes.
