James Dunn is licensed in Minnesota and Wisconsin and in the federal courts of Minnesota, Wisconsin (Western District) and North Dakota, as well as the Eighth Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. His practice has been limited to the specialties of civil litigation, including insurance litigation, employment litigation, products liability and automobile liability.

He is certified by the NTBA and MSBA as a Civil Trial Specialist. He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocacy. Attorney Dunn is AV-rated, has been selected as a Super Lawyer, Leading Minnesota Attorney, Leading American Attorney and to Who’s Who in American Law. He has recently been selected as one of Minnesota’s Top 100 Lawyers. Attorney Dunn is also a qualified ADR Neutral (mediator/ arbitrator) under Rule 114 of the Minnesota General Rules of Practice.
