As both the founder of Miller & Miller and from a personal standpoint, Jamie knows how devastating financial issues can be to an individual and their family.  After graduating from the University of Wisconsin in Madison Jamie returned to Canton, Ohio to assist with the running of a family business. Unfortunately that business failed and was forced into bankruptcy. 

During this period, Jamie helped his family navigate the complex paperwork, court system and the emotional toll that were part of the business bankruptcy process.   While the bankruptcy was difficult for Jamie and his family, there was a bit of a “personal silver lining”.  The experience convinced him to attend the University of Miami in Florida and pursue a legal degree focusing on bankruptcy and financial matters.  The care and compassion that Jamie shows his clients today are rooted in the bankruptcy matters experienced by his family years ago.
