Biography

My practice focuses on litigating significant bodily injury and death claims arising from car accidents, medical malpractice and faulty products. I also focus on insurance coverage disputes that arise from injury and death.

I have tried over 120 jury trials the state and federal courts throughout Ohio, representing clients in 84 of the 88 counties in Ohio to date. I have also represented clients in over 150 appeals throughout Ohio in the Courts of Appeals and the Ohio Supreme Court.

I was the chairperson of the Insurance Coverage Committee for the Ohio Association of Civil Trial Attorneys (OACTA) for 8 years and served on its Board of Directors for several years as well. I was elected as President of OACTA in 2005. I currently serve as President of another statewide organization, the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), for 2013.

I have also served on the Ohio Round Table, an ad hoc committee consisting of the leaders of all statewide bar and judicial associations in Ohio.
