He received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law where he was Executive Editor of the Journal of Intellectual Property Law and Justice/President of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity.

He received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Kennesaw State University.

He is a longtime member of Wealth Counsel where he has received advanced training in wills, trusts and other estate planning, as well as the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys, and the Elder Law and Fiduciary Law sections of the State Bar of Georgia.
