Attorney Johansen, a Superior native, took his B.A., cum laude, from UWS-Superior in three years and his J.D. in two. While in law school, Johansen worked at Federal Defenders of San Diego, Inc. where he assisted clients in federal custody with intake and bail hearings. After law school, he returned to Wisconsin and passed the Wisconsin bar examination.​

With a career spanning more than two decades, Attorney Johansen has represented clients throughout the State of Wisconsin on cases ranging from disorderly conduct to Felony Appeals. He has served as both President and Vice President of the Douglas County Bar Association. Since 2003, he has been President and Lead Counsel at Johansen Law Office, S.C.
