Janell’s extensive professional background and unparalleled work ethic has aided immensely in her career. After completing her undergraduate studies at San Francisco State University, Janell worked for a Fortune 500 company where she was recognized as one of their top performing representatives. Janell then worked as a business development director at a private equity investment firm while obtaining her Juris Doctorate degree from Lawrence Drivon School of Law. Before starting her immigration law practice, she interned with the San Joaquin County District Attorney’s office.

Janell is a member of the California State Bar and the American Immigration Lawyers Association. She has represented individuals in removal proceedings before the federal court and USCIS; as well as represented businesses in investor-based petitions. Her primary practice is now focused on family-based immigration and humanitarian relief.

Janell has always had a strong commitment to serving disadvantaged communities and has been highly involved with several non profit organizations. Janell also lends her professional expertise to those in need, volunteering with several non-profit legal clinics, organizing community outreach events, and providing an array of free legal services to people who are stranded without counsel.
