My primary practice is in commercial and real estate litigation and dispute resolution in state and federal courts.  I also do a considerable amount of real estate and business transaction work, business startup work, plus intellectual property work in the areas of trademark registration and branding, along with copyright work.  I have also litigated and resolved disputes in those intellectual property areas. As a former professional musician I continue to represent entertainers as a small part of my practice. 

In addition, I am an Adjunct Professor at Michigan State University College of Law.  I taught legal writing courses from 2002 through 2012 and switched to teaching remedies starting in the fall of 2013.  I have also presented guest lectures at the MSU Law College and other state universities.  On top of that I own a residential real estate management company that manages rental real estate that I own.
