Jason A. Matt is a 2006 graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, ranked second in his class, and was a finalist for most outstanding mechanical engineering graduate. He obtained a law degree from Loyola College of Law in New Orleans in 2010.

Prior to law school, Mr. Matt worked as an engineer in the oil and gas industry, focusing primarily on oil well equipment design and operation for a major international oil field service company.

Following law school, he worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Judge Richard T. Haik in the federal Western District Court of Louisiana.

During the Fall of 2011, Mr. Matt joined the firm focusing his practice primarily on offshore personal injury, automobile accidents, product liability, and workers’ compensation. He is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the Lafayette Bar Association, and theLafayette Young Lawyers Association, where he serves as a member of its board of directors.
