Jason James attended The Ohio State University with studies in Political Science, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from Franklin University. Jason would go on to obtain his Juris Doctor from Capital University Law School.

After being licensed by the Supreme Court of Ohio, Jason would become licensed to practice in the United States District Court in the Southern District of Ohio. Since that time Jason has been working in the field of consumer debtor bankruptcy representation for both Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcies.

Jason is presently a member of the Columbus Bar Association, the Ohio Bar Association, and the Federal Bar Association. He has also joined the Bankruptcy Committees with the Ohio and Federal Bar Association.
