Jeff Davison chairs the firm’s Construction Practice Group. He has represented contractors, design professionals, construction lenders, suppliers, subcontractors and sureties on a wide variety of construction matters throughout the United States and internationally. His practice has involved construction litigation in state and federal courts, as well as resolving litigation disputes in arbitration and mediation proceedings. He has prepared and defended claims in numerous areas of construction law, including bid protests, delay, acceleration, disruption/inefficiency claims, design error claims, contract default claims, payment disputes, MBE/DBE challenges, insurance coverage claims, mechanics liens and bond claims. He has also served as a mediator for the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT).

After recovering over $37 million in 2006 and over $21 million in 2007 for his clients[1], Davison was asked to speak at the San Francisco Construction SuperConference on a collaborative construction dispute resolution process which he assisted in developing. This unique ADR technique has been utilized to save both the contractor and the project owner millions of dollars and time in resolving complex construction claims.

In 2010, Davison represented a general contractor who successfully obtained a decision in excess of $10 million from a Disputes Resolution Board in Phoenix. [1]
