Jeffrey C. Kakish is an Attorney at Kakish Law, LLC who dedicates his practice to OVI/DUI, Criminal and Traffic Defense.  He is a principled ambitious attorney, problem solver and leader deeply rooted in Northeast Ohio.  Mr. Kakish displays great personal pride in his representation of clients and strives to provide a competent and professional legal defense.

Mr. Kakish graduated cum laude from Saint Louis University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Women’s Studies Certificate. He then attended Roger Williams University School of Law graduating with his Juris Doctor Degree and Mediation Certificate in 2010.  Mr. Kakish was admitted to the bar in the Commonwealth of Kentucky in May 2011 and the Ohio bar in November 2012.

Prior to starting his own practice, Mr. Kakish spent several years learning the ins and outs in the typical firm setting as well as at a small boutique drunk driving firm.  Jeff's passion for criminal defense began where his legal career started, with the Lake County Public Defender. Mr. Kakish successfully litigated numerous motion hearings and trials, building his reputation as he continued mastering his craft.  Through his service, Mr. Kakish gained valuable experience in defending OVI/DUI, Criminal, Traffic, and Domestic Relations cases in Juvenile, Municipal and Common Pleas Courts.

In October 2016, Mr. Kakish was honored to earn the ACS-CHAL Forensic Lawyer-Scientist Designation. In earning this designation, Mr. Kakish developed specialized knowledge on Gas Chromatography and Forensic Lab Testing of Drugs and Alcohol.
