Jeffrey D. Johnsen is a litigator specializing in complex property and family law matters, with extensive experience in real estate issues concerning easements and harassment, and experience with volatile family law custody and support issues.

In addition to domestic relations and real estate matters, his work with Lowthorp Richards spans the practice groups of business litigation; injury and professional negligence litigation; domestic relations and agriculture, ranching and corporate issues.

Jeff joined the law firm of Lowthorp Richards in 2010, after working for seven years as a solo practitioner and with Ventura County firms. He successfully has tried numerous cases in the Ventura County Superior Court.  Beginning in July, 2018 Jeff decided to open his own office where he could more easily perform his job for his clients without economically harming his clients.

A graduate of University of California, Santa Barbara, Jeff earned his juris doctor from Whittier College, School of Law, and began his law practice in 1993. He is a member of the Ventura County Trial Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association and the California Bar Association.

Jeff volunteers to further the welfare and education of youth in Ventura County, where he serves as a board member with the Boys Scouts of America, president of Kids2Kids, Inc., and board member of the Ranger Gridiron Club, Inc. In addition, he is a football coach for Nordhoff High School.

Jeff and his wife, Pam, have been married for 28 years and reside in the Ojai Valley, where they have raised their five children.
