LANCE VANZANT received his Bachelor of Arts degrees in History and Political Science from Cameron University, his Master of Arts degree from Texas Tech University, and his law degree from Southern Methodist University. Lance is licensed to practice in all Texas state courts, and the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Texas. His practices focuses on state and local law, advising governmental entities, universities, land owners and businesses on all aspects of ordinance drafting and enforcement, public contracting and procurement, economic development, public financing and tax incentives, land use planning, annexation, eminent, domain, elections, disability rights law, open meetings and open records issues, employment law, civil rights, and public utilities.  He also represents clients in the area of guardianship and bankruptcy.
