Jeremy Y. Weltman is a Shareholder at Hermes, Netburn, O'Oconnor & Spearing in downtown Boston where he brings an assertive and practical, results-oriented approach to resolving clients' legal issues. Jeremy's concentration is civil and commercial litigation with substantive experience handling complex commercial/business litigation, employment litigation, real estate disputes, construction, multi-party product liability, probate litigation, class-action, civil rights, ADA accessibility litigation, municipal disputes, appellate advocacy and other tort based litigation matters.

Jeremy has litigated and negotiated disputes for a wide range of clients including Fortune 500 companies, mid-sized and small businesses, property owners, condo ass'ns, contractors, insurers and disenfranchised individuals. He has successfully tried cases in Massachusetts and New Hampshire (pro hac vice) state courts, briefed and argued matters in the US District and Appeals Courts, and has represented clients in alternative forms of dispute resolution with favorable results.

Jeremy graduated magna cum laude from the University of Denver in 2001 (B.S., Psychology) with minors in Biology, Business and Philosophy. While at DU, he earned the distinguished Hornbeck Scholar award for maintaining a 4.0 grade point average for over 85% of his collegiate curriculum and was invited to join several esteemed honor societies including Phi Beta Kappa. Jeremy earned his J.D. from NEU School of Law in 2004.

Jeremy has earned an AV rating (the highest rating available in consideration of both legal ability and ethical standards) from Martindale-Hubbell, the country’s leading peer review rating system for attorneys. He was also selected to the Super Lawyers® Massachusetts Rising Stars list every year since 2013 and named a Litigation Top 40 Under 40 by ASLA.
