Jesse L. Williams takes the idea of patriotism seriously. As a Gulf War veteran, he served 8 years in the U.S. military, including six months locating and clearing land mines and bunkers after the war. Unafraid to take risks, he brings that approach to his law practice, tackling the growing arrests related to medical marijuana law.

Williams believes his patriotism extends to defending citizens in an often unjust justice system. 

"When people are following guidelines but are being punished by law enforcement and the courts, there's a problem. The law is being ignored," he states. 

His solid American values, including hard work, stem from his northern Michigan roots. Raised in a respectable working class family, Williams resettled in Michigan after law school.

He also brings an extensive business background to his law practice, having owned and managed his own LLC construction company. Jess is a hands-on person with a strong work ethic, Williams navigates his clients through the legal system with confidence and skill.

"I am associated with sticking up for a group of people who are being targeted and picked on. People shouldn't have to live in fear."
