Mr. Jesse Valdez attended the Central Washington University for his undergraduate studies, Seattle University School of Law for his J.D., and University of Washington School of Law for his LL.M. in Taxation.

Jesse is a partner in the firm of Valdez Lehman PLLC.  The firm cover various matters including:  Estate Planning, Business Law and  Bankruptcy,  Intellectual Property, Taxation and Commercial Litigation.

 Before joining Valdez Lehman, Jesse worked for Shulkin & Hutton in downtown Seattle, focusing on bankruptcy and business law.  Prior to that, he externed for the Honorable Judge Karen A. Overstreet, Chief Bankruptcy Judge for the Western District of  Washington.  Jesse’s current areas of practice focuses on Bankruptcy (Chapter(s) 7, 11, 13), Estate Planning/Probate, Corporations/Business Law, Taxation, Creditor/Debtor and Commercial Litigation where he assists businesses and individuals in formulating strategies and solutions for their everyday needs.  

Jesse’s professional acknowledgments include the 2009 Latina/o Bar Association of Washington Member of the Year Award and the 2010 Seattle University School of Law La Justicia Award.  He has also appeared as a lecturer on Estate Planning for the King County Bar Association Continuing Legal Education program, and is the current Regional President for the HNBA, Region 16. 

He is admitted to practice in the following jurisdictions:  State of Washington, U.S. Federal Bankruptcy Court - Western and Eastern District of Washington, U.S. District Court - Western District of Washington, U.S. District Court - Eastern District of Washington, and U.S. Tax Court.
