I am a trial lawyer, devoting 100% of my practice to litigation.  I practice in the areas of personal injury, including auto accidents, premises liability/slip and fall cases, dog bite/Animal Control Act cases, cases involving pharmacy mistakes, medical negligence, nursing home negligence, wrongful death cases, and appeals. I am a staunch advocate of client’s rights as victims of negligence in personal injury cases, and also of patient rights in the context of personal injury litigation.

I pride myself most in my relationships with my clients, and my persistence in fighting against the large insurance companies, corporations, and even physicians who attempt to take advantage of victims of personal injury. I care about my clients and their legal rights at a very personal level and spend a great deal of time with my clients from the beginning of their case through the end.  

I was born in Decatur, Illinois. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Augustana College, with a concentration in Spanish, and my Juris Doctor degree from Valparaiso University School of Law.  

I enjoy traveling, gardening, exercising and spending time with my family.
