Jody Lipton earned her bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Michigan in 1990. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit Law School in 1993 – graduating magna cum laude and in the top ten in her class. She was admitted to the Michigan Bar that same year and served as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for Oakland County.

Jody became a partner at Lipton Law in 1996, where she has been no stranger to the courtroom. She has tried more than 50 jury trials and sits as an arbitrator. Her specialties include Michigan no-fault insurance, automobile negligence, premises liability and other general negligence claims. She is also an expert in motorcycle cases and insurance.

As a public service to save people money and help protect their assets, Jody shares her extensive knowledge of auto insurance via interactive presentations to audiences of all types; she educates people on the “real facts” about Michigan’s no-fault system.
