Ms. Rousell is a native and lifelong resident of New Orleans, Louisiana. Ms. Rousell earned her law degree from Loyola University College of Law in New Orleans. During law school, Ms. Rousell was dual enrolled in the JD/MBA Program. Ms. Rousell was a member of the Loyola Moot Court Program, and as an oralist for the First Amendment Team, she reached the Top 8 out of 28 at the Burton Weschler competition in Washington, D.C. Ms. Rousell was also a member of the Loyola Trial Advocacy Program, where she received the Best Closing Award and served as a Trial Advocacy competitor for two years. Ms. Rousell was sworn in as a student practitioner, practicing in the Prosecution section of the Loyola Law Clinic. Ms. Rousell served as the Vice President of Cabinet for SBA and as an Admissions Ambassador. In addition to Ms. Rousell’s law school achievements, she was invited to the Loyola Law Journal and the Loyola Journal of Public Interest Law.
